The Leipzig-based rock band Atlas Bird just released the music video for their latest single “Isolate”. After the band’s debut single “Voyage“, “Isolate” is another dark hymn that culminates in a liberating chorus. In the video, two seemingly similar characters find themselves in a competitive situation. They struggle for supremacy and in their urge for dominance they are confronted with each other. But the superficial contact is not true. The isolation, the actual distance becomes more and more clear.
With this video release, Atlas Bird announce their first EP, titled Escapia, which will be released on December 8, 2017.

Nach ihrer Debut-Single “Voyage“ beweisen Atlas Bird mit “Isolate” erneut, dass sie eine Schwäche für epische Songs haben. Die düstere Hymne schwingt sich aus dem steinigen Terrain der Strophen zu einem versöhnlichen und befreienden Refrain auf.
Im Video finden sich zwei scheinbar ähnliche Persönlichkeiten in einer Konkurrenz-Situation wieder. Sie ringen um Überlegenheit und sehen sich in Ihrem Durchsetzungsdrang immer wieder miteinander konfrontiert. Doch der oberflächliche Kontakt ist nicht wahrhaftig,. Die Isolation, die eigentliche Distanz wird immer klarer.
Mit dem Videorelease kündigt die Leipziger Rockband Atlas Bird ihre Debut EP Escapia an, die am 8. Dezember 2017 erscheint.
